Practical, engaging ways to assess your children’s progress throughout the lesson
This event is being led by Jo Howell.
All teachers are aware of the importance of progress within a lesson. Assessing children during the learning process is not always easy, but it is vital to supporting pupils with their next steps. Identifying key misconceptions before the end of a lesson can be key to children’s development.
This practical, enjoyable course will provide delegates with a varied tool box for ongoing assessment of children in the core subjects and beyond. From Key Stage 1, to Key Stage 2 there will be numerous interactive tasks, with minimum preparation time, that enable teachers to check the learning of their class in meaningful ways.
This event is free to those schools who subscribe to the Gateway Alliance – core offer for NEW & RECENTLY TEACHER’s.
There is one place available per subscription. Additional places may be booked at a cost of £65 per person. Non-subscribing schools may attend, subject to availability, at a cost of £100 per person. Invoices to be paid prior to the event.
BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL
