Telling the Story – How to Successfully Lead Quality and Demonstrate Progress in the EYFS led by Ruth Swailes (Early Excellence)
The day will consider the key principles of outstanding practice in the Early Years and key priorities for your school in order to create a culture that enables the whole EYFS team to excel and for all children to make progress.
On the day Ruth will also share: techniques to judge quality; effective ways to challenge practice; and how to understand & observe the balance between teaching & play.
This event is for Early Years Leaders.
Headteachers will be invited to attend the morning session for FREE.
Ruth Swailes is an experienced senior leader. She has a wealth of experience in primary education with over 20 year’s experience in senior leadership roles including primary headship.
Ruth has worked as a School Improvement Advisor, Early Years Consultant and Moderator in several Local Authorities, supporting leaders and teachers to improve outcomes for pupils.
Ruth is passionate about Early Years, having taught Nursery, Reception and KS1. She is also a trained Ofsted Inspector.
This event is free to those schools who subscribe to the Gateway Alliance – core offer for EARLY YEARS.
There is one place available per subscribing school. Additional places may be booked at a cost of £100 per person. Non-subscribing schools may attend, subject to availability, at a cost of £175 per person. Invoices to be paid prior to the event.
