Science Leaders’ Conference 2017
Brought to you in association with:
Following the success of our Science Subject Leaders Conference in 2016, we will be hosting another event to give Science leaders access to more innovative practice and an opportunity to network with peers from across the county and beyond.
The focus of the event will be ‘Working Scientifically’ and the afternoon will be packed full of innovative ideas and practical examples of how we can encourage our pupils to engage with and enjoy science.
We are delighted to welcome Debbie Eccles from Primarily Science to lead our event. Debbie will be supported on the day by colleagues from the Association for Science Education, who will be bringing us up to date with the latest news in primary science from around the country.
Debbie Eccles – Debbie started her career as a primary teacher and left a deputy head’s role to become a primary science teacher adviser for Lancashire LA. As a founder partner of Primarily Science she is a well-established provider of primary science CPD providing a host of well received courses, conference sessions and school based work. In addition to her work directly with teachers she has contributed to a range of innovative and well received resources including “Discovery Dog” and most recently with other members of the Primarily Science team and Anne Goldsworthy on “Science Bug”, Pearson’s primary science scheme for curriculum 2014.
