Dyslexia – Making a Difference for those with a Learning Difference led by Jennifer Cotton
During this full day event, conference participants will explore:
Jennifer Cotton has been specialising in teaching pupils with special educational needs (SEN) for over 20 years. She has a Masters level qualification in SEN and she also has additional specialist qualifications in assessing and teaching learners with dyslexia.
Jennifer has been working for Leicestershire Learning Support Service for 15 years. In her role, she runs training events for teachers and TAs on a range of topics including dyslexia, reading, writing etc. She also carries out assessments of pupils and suggests next steps for learning.
She is always seeking to develop her own practice by teaching pupils herself. She is passionate about her role and is looking forward to working with the SENCos from Warwickshire to support the development of practice locally.
This event is free to those schools who subscribe to the Gateway Alliance – core offer for SEN.
There is one place available per subscribing school. Additional places may be booked at a cost of £100 per person. Non-subscribing schools may attend, subject to availability, at a cost of £175 per person. Invoices to be paid prior to the event.
