Ruth Baker-Leask is an independent education consultant, and former primary head teacher. Through her work, she supports to schools, and other organisations within the education sector predominantly in the areas of leadership development, curriculum design, English subject support and school improvement.
Ruth has a particular interest in English and Literacy and once worked as a local authority English Consultant. She is currently the Vice Chair of the English Expert Subject Advisory Group (ESAG); formed by the DfE to provide independent expert advice on the implementation of the English curriculum. Ruth is also the chair of the National Association for Advisers of English.
This event is free to those schools who subscribe to the Gateway Alliance – core offer for ENGLISH subject development.
There is one place available per subscribing school. Additional places may be booked at a cost of £70 per person. Non-subscribing schools may attend, subject to availability, at a cost of £110 per person. Invoices to be paid prior to the event.
