Improving Provision & Outcomes in Geography led by David Weatherly
DATE: Monday 30th March 2020
VENUE: Stoneleigh Park, Kenilworth
COST: This course is part of the Curriculum CPD Offer – subscribing schools have 4 free places on any of the courses within the offer. Further bookings and additional places will be charged at £105 per person. For non-subscribing schools places are charged at £180 per person.
The day will concentrate on the key principles of building a curriculum in geography which enables pupils to make progress in the acquisition of subject skills and achieve progressively more challenging outcomes from EYFS to Year 6. The sessions will be practical and interactive with an emphasis throughout on reflective professional practice.

This is session is targeted at primary classroom teachers, although subject leaders will also benefit from attending.
David Weatherly is a School Improvement Adviser and an accomplished teacher with an international reputation as an inspiring trainer. Whether working in schools or at CPD events he always models practical and achievable approaches to improving engagement and outcomes of pupils. He is author of the award winning Primary Connected Geography and Primary Connected History schemes published by Harper Collins and regularly teaches at all stages of learning.
