Teaching Primary RE: Christianity, Judaism & Islam led by Fiona Moss
DATE: Tuesday 28th April 2020
VENUE: Stoneleigh Park, Kenilworth
COST: This course is part of the Curriculum CPD Offer – subscribing schools have 4 free places on any of the courses within the offer. Further bookings and additional places will be charged at £105 per person. For non-subscribing schools places are charged at £180 per person.
This one-day course addresses practical ways of learning about and from three religions: Christianity, Judaism and Islam. The course will improve teachers’ and co-ordinators’ subject knowledge and provide them with a variety of engaging and effective strategies for learning about and from these religions. Resources and ideas will be shared, supporting creative, visual, active and enquiry-based learning for children from 5 to 11.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
This is session is targeted at primary classroom teachers, although subject leaders will also benefit from attending.
Fiona Moss was a primary teacher and RE subject leader for many years, and the RE and SACRE Curriculum Adviser for Leicester City. She is now an Adviser with RE Today, as well as Chief Executive Officer of NATRE. She writes for RE Today, edits the primary series Inspiring RE, was a writer and trainer on Understanding Christianity and her latest publication is on Assessment and RE. Fiona delivers training, support and consultancy around the country and internationally.
