Gateway Alliance was founded on a shared belief – that high-quality professional development has the power to transform teaching and improve outcomes for children. What began as a small group of schools working together under Teaching School status has grown into a trusted organisation supporting schools and trusts across the region and beyond.
For more than 15 years, we have continued to evolve—responding to national reforms, local needs and the voices of those we serve. Our journey reflects our commitment to quality, collaboration and making a difference where it matters most.
By 2012, we launched our first CPD “Core Offer” and began delivering our School Direct initial teacher training programme. As school needs changed, we listened – remodelling our CPD offer in 2014 to bring in subject specialists and expand our networks.
