Chief Executive

Helen joined Gateway during its set-up, back in 2012, having previously worked for a national government agency supporting workforce development in schools across the West Midlands. Before this Helen worked in local government in both School Improvement and HR and prior to that held workforce development roles in the private sector. Working closely with our partner schools, Helen leads the Alliance and oversees all aspects of its work.

Jo leads on Gateway’s programmes ensuring that our professional development offer to schools reflects the latest educational thinking, is matched to schools’ current & emerging needs and is research informed, transformative & accessible. Jo was a Headteacher in Warwickshire for 8 years & since then has been the Director of Primary for two large national networks of schools. This combined experience means that she has a wealth of knowledge in relation to school leadership, the design & delivery of high quality CPD & strong links with schools & wider partners from around the globe.

Dale Palmer

Programme & Operations Manager

Dale is part of Gateway’s Programmes team. Prior to joining Gateway, Dale worked as an Operations Manager for a leading training provider in the Accountancy industry, focusing on the organisation of training events in venues and online. He plays a key role in ensuring our training operations run smoothly. Dale also supports Gateway’s wider business operations as part of his role.

Administrator

Danielle provides administrative support to the whole team. Before joining Gateway she taught in primary schools across the Midlands and so knows from the chalk face how important effective support and development is to teachers. Danielle is the welcoming face of Gateway at a lot of our courses and events, helping to ensure everything runs smoothly and that delegates get the most out of these sessions.

Programme Manager

Trudi is part of our Programmes Team. She supports the planning and delivery of our CPD programmes and works closely with schools across our networks to build strong, supportive relationships. Trudi is an experienced facilitator and has supported professional development in schools across the region for several years. Before joining Gateway, she was a teacher and most recently a senior leader in Solihull. She is passionate about the power of high-quality CPD to keep teachers effective, motivated and inspired throughout their careers.

Jo supports the Gateway team with all marketing and promotional activity. With extensive marketing experience working within a variety of business sectors, including financial services, hospitality and more recently the mental health training industry, Jo brings a wealth of knowledge around all elements of marketing activity, including direct marketing, brand development and strategic business partnerships.
