Curriculum CPD – Embedding Art Teaching & Learning
This course is made up of 2 sessions – 1 webinar followed by a face to face session later in the year. This course will support you in building confidence in primary art teaching by building on your own practical skills and subject knowledge.
You will build confidence in drawing skills and explore how drawing can act as a foundation to the other mediums. You will gain an insight into successful art planning using the teaching backwards structure, embedding skills over time and leading to a high-quality final outcome.

This course is being run over 2 sessions – 1 webinar followed by a face to face event. Delegates are expected to ATTEND BOTH SESSIONS. The sessions are taking place as follows:
SESSION 1 – WEBINAR:
DATE: Tuesday 8th December 2020
TIME: 15:30-17:30
VENUE: ONLINE
We will be using Zoom (online video conferencing software) to host this online event. If you have not used Zoom previously, you may need to download the Zoom software either to a laptop, PC, tablet or smartphone, prior to joining. When you have booked your place a link will be emailed to you, within 48 hours of the webinar, with further instructions about how to join the event.
SESSION 2 – FACE TO FACE:
DATE: Tuesday 4th May 2021
TIME: 13:30-16:30
VENUE: Stoneleigh Park (off the B4113), Stoneleigh Road, Kenilworth, CV8 2LG.
