Transforming Teaching with Tech: Creative Tools for Every Subject

Overview
This practical, innovative and engaging CPD day explores how creative use of technology can transform teaching across the curriculum. Designed especially for subject leaders of Computing and beyond, this session will show how digital tools can be embedded meaningfully into subjects like English, history, science, geography and more.
With a focus on using iPads and tools like Seesaw, green screen, and AI, the day equips staff with simple, effective strategies to boost pupil engagement, raise standards, showcase learning in exciting ways, and reduce teacher workload—without needing to be a tech expert.

TIME: 09:30-15:30
VENUE: ONLINE (Zoom- link will be sent out a week before)
COST: £230 per person
We will be using Zoom (online video conferencing software) to host this online event. If you have not used Zoom previously, you may need to download the Zoom software either to a laptop, PC, tablet or smartphone, prior to joining. When you have booked your place a link will be emailed to you within 48 hours of the webinar, with further instructions about how to join the event. Sessions are interactive so please ensure you have access to a microphone and camera to get the most out of this event.

Lee Parkinson, Mr P, has been a Primary School Teacher for 17 years, during which time he has built a wealth of ideas for how technology can be embedded right across the curriculum. He continues to work part time in school and also leads CPD and INSET training throughout the UK and beyond, focusing on raising standards in the classroom through technology.
Through his humorous and engaging approach to life in the classroom, he has been able to support and help teachers transform their curriculum to inspire, empower and make learning more purposeful and accessible for their pupils. Mr P is passionate about helping as many teachers as possible get a decent work/life balance. He takes a blunt and frank approach to certain classroom practices before sharing ideas and approaches that help raise standards without creating unnecessary workload. From sharing helpful advice, inspiring ideas and funny insights into life in the classroom, he has become one of the most followed teachers in the UK online. Mr P can also be seen as the resident ‘go to’ teacher on This Morning, alongside creating content in the education space for the BBC.
