Overview
Session 1: Empowering the Primary History Leader – Curriculum, chronology and local history.
This first of two sessions is a carefully curated blend of research, classroom practice, and practical takeaways for History subject leaders and will include:
Session 2: TBC
The second session will explore a different aspect of History provision and will be agreed based on a needs assessment and feedback from session 1.
This course is being run over 2 sessions. Delegates are expected to ATTEND BOTH SESSIONS.
The sessions are taking place as follows:
SESSION 1: Thursday, 23 January 2025 (13:00-15:30)
SESSION 2: Wednesday, 19 March 2025 (13:00-15:30)
By booking a place on this course, you will secure 1 place on each of the 2 sessions.
We will be using Zoom (online video conferencing software) to host this online event. If you have not used Zoom previously, you may need to download the Zoom software either to a laptop, PC, tablet or smartphone, prior to joining. When you have booked your place a link will be emailed to you, within 48 hours of the webinar, with further instructions about how to join the event.

Stuart Tiffany
Stuart is an experienced primary school teacher, history specialist, visiting lecturer, CPD provider, consultant, author, and honorary fellow of the Historical Association. He has worked at a range of schools as a teacher and subject leader across West Yorkshire and now supports schools nationwide on developing their curriculum offer and upskilling staff on history as a subject discipline. He runs the largest primary history focused page on Facebook (Mr T does Primary History) with a simple mission of offering free advice and support to anyone that reaches out and sharing the best practice in primary history. This has grown into a business that takes him nationwide sharing the absolute joy that primary history can bring through virtual and in-person INSET and twilight CPD sessions.
