MFL for All: Supporting Every Learner to Achieve in the Primary Languages Classroom

This course will be run over 2 online sessions, delegates should attend both sessions.
Session 1
Teaching languages in the primary classroom can be a challenge. With time and budgetary constraints, how can we help all of our children to know and remember more? This session will focus on:
Session 2: TBC
The second session will explore a different aspect of languages provision and will be agreed based on a needs assessment and feedback from session 1.
This course is being run over 2 sessions. Delegates are expected to ATTEND BOTH SESSIONS.
The sessions are taking place as follows:
SESSION 1: Thursday, 18 April 2024 (13:00-15:30)
SESSION 2: Thursday, 13 June 2024 (13:00-15:30)
By booking a place on this course, you will secure 1 place on each of the 2 sessions.
We will be using Zoom (online video conferencing software) to host this online event. If you have not used Zoom previously, you may need to download the Zoom software either to a laptop, PC, tablet or smartphone, prior to joining. When you have booked your place a link will be emailed to you, within 48 hours of the webinar, with further instructions about how to join the event.

Ellie Chettle Cully is a qualified primary teacher with a degree in French and Hispanic Studies, currently working as the French specialist teacher and Languages and International Dimension Lead at Hazel Community Primary School in Leicester. Ellie regularly speaks at national conferences and writes about the delivery of languages in primary schools and also provides a range of primary languages CPD for teachers and trainee teachers, both locally and nationally. She coordinates the Association for Language Learning Leicester Primary Hub. Ellie is passionate about raising the profile of languages through engaging language lessons, school partnerships, extracurricular clubs, designated curriculum days and trips.
