Curriculum CPD – Design & Technology
Making it Real and Relevant from EYFS to Year 6
Led by Leanne Mee
During this session we will explore how we can connect learning across the Design and Technology curriculum to contexts that are real and relevant. We will reflect on the curriculum from EYFS to Year 6 and develop units of work that allow for progression of learning across each of the key concepts.
We will look at exploring the range of tools and processes that we can embed across the curriculum to develop children’s confidence in making and address any concerns around the need to lead this safely. We will also reflect on how we evidence and assess practical learning across D&T.
