Curriculum CPD – Teaching PE in Primary Schools

Due to current restrictions we will now be offering this as an online event.

This online session will bring you up to date with the latest information about teaching and leading PE and sport in primary school. The session will provide you with information, ideas and updates to help improve PE provision in your school.

The session is aimed at: Primary School Teachers/PE Subject Co-ordinators/Leaders

Session Objectives:

  • Provide national and local updates on Physical Education and School Sport.
  • Support schools who are considering putting forward PE and Sport as part of a Deep Dive Ofsted Inspection.
  • Explore ways of making PE teaching effective when working within current restrictions.
  • Discuss how schools can evidence the impact of the DfE PE and School Sport Premium Grant.

We hope to be able to provide a follow-up, face to face session before the end of the academic year, which will be a more hands-on, practical session.

DATE: Wednesday 10th March 2021

TIME: 15:30-17:30

VENUE:  Online – interactive webinar

We will be using Zoom (online video conferencing software) to host the meeting.  When you have booked your place a link will be emailed to you with further instructions about how to join the meeting.
