Curriculum CPD – Science Leaders’ Network

Please note: Due to the current restrictions we are unable to bring this course to you as a full day, face to face event. It will instead be run over 2 online sessions.

We are delighted to be welcoming Ele from Primarily Science back to lead TWO ‘not to be missed’ online sessions for our Science Leaders Network.

These sessions, for  established subject leaders, will keep you up to date with the latest from DfE, Ofsted, ASE and many other science education organisations that offer support to enrich the science curriculum such as science events, clubs, and home/school activities.

We will address approaches to progression and assessment and evaluate resources designed to support these. There will be chance discuss concerns and network with other primary science subject leaders from the area during planned breakout sessions.

Outcomes

Delegates will:

  • Be able to plan for any changes needed to science provision considering any recent developments.
  • Use a host of new ideas and activities to teach science to your children.
  • Increase your knowledge and understanding of science.
