Autumn Term 2024 – Session Overview
Join us for another insightful English network meeting where Ruth will explore what it means to create a progression in children’s literature; model picture book theory in practice; and examine strategies to enhance writing fluency. Following the summer meeting, we will also discuss the implications of Ofsted’s “Telling the Story” English Education Subject Report and share how it has impacted practice across our network schools. We will provide important updates, including spelling instruction, offering practical guidance for improving literacy outcomes. Delegates are encouraged to bring their school’s progression maps and a new children’s book they have fallen in love with!
We will be running our local network meetings in a range of locations across the year and there will also be an online option.
