Governor Development Programme
Supporting All Governors In Their Role Through The SEND Lens
Led by Kate Browning
Overview
In this twilight online governor session led by our SENCo network lead, Kate Browning, Governors will gain essential knowledge to support them in understanding SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) during monitoring visits. This session aims to equip governors with the necessary information to fulfil their roles effectively. By gaining confidence in understanding what to look for and the relevant questions to ask through the lens of SEND, Governors will be better equipped to support their school community.
Our Governor Development Programme is a high-quality, evidence informed CPD programme for governors. This FULLY ONLINE programme includes termly, live twilight sessions led by expert facilitators, open for up to 3 of your governors per live session. You will also have access to the recordings of all sessions which can be shared with ALL governors back in school. We have brought together a team of expert facilitators, highly experienced in their fields and also in supporting school and trust governing boards. These sessions have been designed to be both accessible and support Governors to have a positive impact in their role.
