Unlock the Gateway to Mathematical Inspiration led by Ian Taylor & guest speakers
Are you ready to embark on an incredible mathematical journey? Join us as we dive into the remarkable world of numbers, patterns, and equations, and uncover the true beauty that lies within mathematics.
The day will be led by Ian Taylor who will be joined in the afternoon by guest speakers and their interactive workshops where you can collaborate with like-minded educators and explore an array of innovative teaching approaches that make maths enjoyable for everyone.
We go beyond the mere memorisation of formulas and rules. Instead, we focus on fostering a deep understanding of mathematical concepts. We believe that when pupils comprehend the “why” behind the numbers, they are able to truly grasp the essence of mathematics.
Our expert speakers will guide you in incorporating practical methods that move mathematical content from working memory to long-term memory. By reinforcing key ideas and providing meaningful connections, you’ll empower your pupils to apply their mathematical knowledge confidently, even in complex problem-solving scenarios.
The session will share dozens of ideas to help you teach challenging concepts in engaging ways.
