Maths Subject Leader Development Meetings
Led by Tom Manners
Overview
At this meeting, Tom will continue looking at the importance of teacher exposition, but now with the added focus of how to develop staff through the lens of lesson preparation.
In addition, we will reflect on the conference and rehearse key ideas together. This will lead to sharing impactful strategies to develop pupils’ ability to solve word problems.
Given the time of year, we will consider what priorities Maths Leads should have in the final months of the academic year and as with all sessions, we will look at ensuring attendees are up-to-date with what’s going on in the world of maths and encourage leaders to share problems and solve collaboratively.
We will be running our local network meetings in a range of locations across the year and there will also be an online option.
