This is the first session in our CPD programme for New and Recently Qualified Teachers.
Getting off to a great start… Preparing for your NQT year and beyond
The first few weeks with a new class are so important and can help set the right tone and positive learning behaviours for the rest of the year. With a focus on routines and relationships, this session will offer practical advice on everything from establishing rules to setting up your classroom, helping you to prepare and get off to the best possible start in September.
This session will be run as a live online webinar and will also be available as a recording.
The session will be approx 1.5 hours and will be led by Gateway Alliance’s Early Career Teacher lead – Sally Hewitt.
Schools who subscribe to the Gateway Alliance – New & Recently Qualified Teacher CPD Programme have 1 FREE place per subscription.
Costs will be incurred for additional places and for schools that do not subscribe. Please contact us for details.
BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL
We will be using Zoom (online video conferencing software) to host the meeting. When you have booked your place a link will be emailed to you with further instructions about how to join the meeting.
The meeting will also be recorded and an edited version of the session will be shared with all schools in the network afterwards.
