Mandy Coalter is the Founder of Talent Architects, dedicated to helping schools become great places to work. She is the author of Talent Architects: How to Make Your School a Great Place to Work (2018). From 2012 to 2019, she was Director of People at United Learning, one of the UK’s largest school groups, where she led HR, talent management, leadership development, marketing, and communications. Under her leadership, United Learning’s HR team won CIPD’s ‘HR Team of the Year’ in 2016, and Mandy was named one of HR Magazine’s Top 10 ‘HR Most Influential’ in 2018 and 2019. Mandy has held senior roles in the NHS, Local Government, the Charity sector, and education. She brings deep expertise in corporate governance, serving on boards including E-ACT Trust, the National Teaching Awards Trust, and The Education Alliance Trust. She holds a Law degree, is a Fellow of the CIPD, a qualified Executive Coach, and an NLP practitioner.
