Senior Leaders’ Webinar 3: Leading communities with purpose and compassion led by Nav Sanghara

During this webinar Nav will focus on how we can revisit and rethink our purpose as education leaders and build our communities with compassion. She will share her own personal journey, talk about the research that has shaped her thinking and offer some questions for leaders in terms of leading their own communities.

DATE: Wednesday 1st December 2021

TIME: 10:00-11:00am

We will be using Zoom (online video conferencing software) to host this online event. If you have not used Zoom previously, you may need to download the Zoom software either to a laptop, PC, tablet or smartphone, prior to joining. When you have booked your place a link will be emailed to you, within 48 hours of the webinar, with further instructions about how to join the event.

The session will also be recorded and afterwards an edited version will be shared with those schools that have booked a place.

Nav Sanghara 

Nav has been a Headteacher since 2012 and has experience of school leadership in a range of contexts. Throughout her career Nav has been driven to serve school communities with ambition, equity and excellence. She is passionate about high-quality professional development and building inclusive, learning communities that are underpinned by relationships and connection.

Nav became the CEO of The Woodland Academy Trust, which is a small primary multi-academy trust in Kent, in January 2021.

As a National Leader of Education, Nav supports schools in challenging contexts.  She is a member of The Headteachers’ Roundtable-a non-party political headteachers’ group operating as a think-tank and providing a vehicle for the profession to influence national education policy. Nav is also a trustee for STEP Academy Trust.

Nav enjoys speaking publicly on a range of educational themes including curriculum, leadership development and diversity and inclusion.
