FIND POSTGRADUATE TEACHER TRAINING

Courses that start in September 2020 will be listed on the above website from 1 October 2019.

Applications will open on 8 October 2019.

Search for training provider name: ‘Gateway Alliance (Midlands)‘provider code 23E.

All applications should be made via the UCAS teacher training online application portal at www.ucas.com/ucas/teacher-training.

Our Recruitment and Selection Process

The Gateway Alliance will be leading the recruitment process working in partnership with the University of Warwick.

Short-Listing

We will shortlist against the selection criteria and successful candidates will be invited for interview in one of our partner schools.
Please note: All candidates must meet the entry requirements. Where candidates are from overseas please contact the University of Warwick or NARIC to check equivalency of qualifications. Where there are gaps within work history then this may delay your application as further checks may have to take place.

Interviews

All shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a school based interview. This will involve the following:

  • 15 minute observed teaching task
  • Group discussion activity
  • Panel interview
